Your Rome tour guide will pick you up from your Rome hotel and take you on an extraordinary two-day overnight tour to this quintessentially Italian stretch of coast. You will recognise the scenery that features in so many works of arts and films, however pictures and paintings cannot do justice to this incredible part of the world. On your first day, visit ancient Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with exceptionally preserved Roman baths, temples, villas, shops, and gardens and much else from Roman life. After that your guide will take you to Sorrento, a small town wonderfully located over white steep cliffs, famous for the production of Limoncello. Sample some of the best home-made lemon liqueur you'll ever try and enjoy the fantastic views over the Bay of Naples. Travel with your personal driver-guide along the Amalfi Drive, one of the most spectacular in Europe. From Sorrento the winding cliff top road offers breathtaking panoramic views at every turn.

Unwind at the end of the day in quaint Positano, amazingly perched on a hill facing the Amalfi Coast, this picturesque town will be the perfect setting for your overnight stay.

On the second day, spend some time relaxing on the beach or start your sightseeing immediately by taking a cruise to the island of Capri, a resort since Roman times. This Mediterranean gem will mesmerise you with the colours of its waters and the breath-taking views of its promenades. Return to Rome in the evening.

Alternatively visit Amalfi, also part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, rich in natural beauty and artistic sights. Your guide will then take you to Ravello, nestled up in the mountains above the sea, before driving you back to Rome in the evening.
